As you are all probably aware by now, I am not very good at keeping up with people from a distance. I hope that soon I can change that, however, as I have some exciting news to share with you. I have applied to and been accepted by a program that brings teachers to Japan to teach English. I will going to Japan in August and staying until May or June. I am very excited to have this chance to try something completely different from anything I have ever done before, and in order to keep track of my time in Japan, and to share it with all of you, I have decided to blog about my experiences in Japan. I will be posting a few times over the summer as I prepare to leave, and hopefully more frequently once I arrive in Japan. I also hope to include some pictures and videos, as I have heard that Japan is a beautiful country. If you don't want to follow my blog please feel free to disregard this message, and I won't be offended. :) Even if you don't follow my blog I would appreciate your prayers as Japan is a nation that is very closed to the Gospel.
Thank you,
Peter

This is awesome! Good luck, and God bless!

I highly recommend blogging. I also highly recommend traveling (although I am sure you have done much more of it than I have). And lastly, but certainly not leastly (haha), I highly recommend and commend you for bringing the Gospel to Japan. Way to go!
